The Royal Horseshoes

Then: The Royal Horseshoes & Cormill, c.1960
Now: January 2010

Taken from just above the church wall, the most obvious changes in the 50-odd years between the two photos are the trees, the disappearance of the corn mill, and the moving forward of the bus shelter. The only things that seem to have stayed the same are the Royal Horseshoes and the phone box. Although the pub chimneys have shrunk, and the roof-line appears to have dropped. But this may be due to the difference in the lenses used.
