Waltham has both an Anglican Church and a Methodist Chapel. Both face uncertain futures due to dwindling congregations and mounting repair and restoration costs.

St Mary Magdalene’s Church has stood at the centre of our village since the early 13th century. Its size reflecting the importance of Waltham in medieval times, when the village was one of the seven largest in Leicestershire.
