Judging by their dress, I’d guess this photo of the Marquis of Granby must have been taken in the early 1900s. It seems to be one of a sequence of photos all taken at the same time, but it’s wonderful to see people in the shot.
Could that be the landlady standing in the doorway holding her baby? With a barmaid in her white pinny beside her. Whilst a customer leans nonchanantly beside the wood railings.
