We’ve probably got more photos of this view than any other in the village – looking up the High Street from the crossroads, with the Marquis of Granby on the left, and Emperson’s store-front in the background.
This is another copy of the various prints hanging in the Marquis, probably taken some time in the 1960s. The attractive wooden picket fencing alongside the Marquis seen in earlier photos has now been replaced by concrete pillars.
