Waltham memories

We’ve kindly been loaned an account by Betsy Kellam of her life in Waltham. Betsy was born at 2 Rose Cottages in 1913; the 11th of her parent’s 12 children to be born in the small cottage. There’s some fascinating material in her account, but it’s all hand-written, and it will take me some time to type it out. So if anyone would be willing to volunteer for the job, please get in touch.

  1. hi I would be happy to help with yr transcription. Yr site is very well made, and the content super for anyone interested in the social history of Leicestershire or who enjoyed “Victorian Farm”.
